The signal processing and machine learning (SPML) interunit action line (LAI) is meant to structure, enable and augment the effectiveness of the theoretical and practical aspects of SPML within INESC Porto LA. The emphasis will be on implementation of mechanisms to share the available know-how in the process of applying SPML effectively to a variety of problems, while not forgetting an understanding of the theory behind what makes SPML work. This LAI will make it possible for researchers outside SPML to identify people expertise for the solution of their problems, while also help share know-how and best practices within SPML experts.
